Wilderness protection, farming and mining rules, and the Historical Society.

The Department of Agriculture keeps the city’s growth in balance with the wilderness around it, and looks after the city’s history.1

What the Department does for you

  • Approves large farms. Crop farms of 5 chunks or more need approval before you build. See Farming and agriculture.2
  • Approves mob spawners. Every mob spawner needs approval before you build it.3
  • Approves large herds. Keeping more than 25 of one animal needs approval.4
  • Keeps track of deep mines. Report any mine deeper than 30 meters.5
  • Protects reservations. Don’t disturb the wildlife or build in a reservation without approval.6
  • Sets the city limits when the city outgrows them.7

Historical Society

Keeps the city’s museums and memorials. Don’t place or remove blocks at either, except to restore them. You may leave flowers and personal tributes at a memorial, in the areas set aside for them.8

The Society is funded by the Department and by citizen donations.9
